Africa Day at ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ
The Africa Institute at ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ is pleased to announce that it will be hosting an Africa Day celebration on May 25, 2026. The event will highlight ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ’s engagement in Africa, showcasing research and partnerships across faculties, and will bring together faculty, staff, and students to celebrate community and collaboration.

Poster Session – Showcase Your Work
The poster session will highlight the diverse and impactful Canada–Africa research across the Institute and the wider ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ community. This low-barrier opportunity welcomes those with existing posters or work to share.
Submissions are open to students, faculty, and staff:

For those unable to attend in person, digital poster submissions may be submitted using the same form. A curated online showcase will highlight ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ’s Canada–Africa collaborations.
Poster registration is separate from the Main Program. Attendance at the main program requires a separate registration (event form above).
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are invited to support with event preparation and coordination on the day.
