Stephanie Huff is a Ph.D. candidate in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Her research interests include global health, gender equity and social justice within an African context. She will be traveling to Tanzania with the ‘·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ Heads East’ program, where she will participate in community projects to implement probiotic cultures to local yogurt kitchens, which will have dense nutritional value for individuals with HIV/AIDS. She will orient her dissertation research around community-based social enterprise as a means to promote health and well-being in Africa.
