Emma Spzindel
Emma Szpindel is a Master’s of Management of Applied Science Candidate, specializing in Global Health Systems in Africa at ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ. Prior to coming to western, Emma completed her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology at Queen’s University. While at Queen’s, Emma spent time as a Volunteer with the Revved Up program, where she helped people with physical disabilities complete a workout plan to improve their health and functionality. Emma also was a member of teams and clubs within the engineering and drama departments, enabling her to work with people from other disciplines and really become comfortable in a transdisciplinary working environment. But, it is the work that Emma has done in the summer at Camp Manitou that she is most proud of. For the past 6 summers, Emma has worked with staff and children from all over the world. Together, all these experiences helped Emma develop a passion for caring for people and working with people from different backgrounds.
