Graduate Studies in Biology
The Biology graduate program is the largest and one of the most dynamic in the faculty. About 50 core and adjunct professors supervise thesis-based Masters and Doctoral student projects. Prospective students are strongly encouraged to identify a prospective supervisor prior to applying to the graduate program. In an effort to assist applicants, the Department does its best to maintain a listing of which faculty members are currently interested in recruiting students to their laboratories. While not exhaustive, this list is a good resource.
